Arrow Just some interesting finds

at the local flea markets last week. At one I found this neat all BRASS Oil Field model pump jack (8") ash tray. It has a battery operated small electric motor in the base that operate the pump jack. It wasn't working when I got it, but it is now . The second find was 14#'s of Magnolia babbit for $6 that has a new home. I'll just keep looking because I can't help my self .

Peter: I used to find some of those 60's Pontiac parts quite a few years ago, but everything seems to have dried up. The only thing I've found lately is the attached 68 Bonneville . I put a 100+ miles on it this Memorial day weekend with a flag on the antenna. The grandchildren love it with the roar of the dual flow masters, and the wife is even starting to like it .The more I drive it the better it runs after sitting since 1992. Sure glad I kept some of those old parts, and now wish I had kept some of the bigger parts besides the 1966-389-2Bbl engine and transmission with 67K miles from a wreck that the Son in law wants for his 66. Not ready to give it up yet as I might still find that elusive 65 Catalina convertable . Just trying to have some fun on the way through, even in NJ. Guess I'll go on "BREAK".

THANKS Guy's:You could almost call it a led sled at 18.5' long. Speaking of "LEAD". I was at one of my other favorite flea markets today and bought some more Magnolia anti friction material. I paid $2 for a 2 piece ingot and as I was paying the guy, he said to me "don't you want the other pieces in the bottom of the box for another $2" The picture tells you what I did. Now I have another 14# +/- (5 pieces) to stash away .
