PARTS WANTED

PORT HURON TRACTION ENGINE 19 hp.-need firebox door,grates and handhole caps.If these had to be made,does anyone know where and how much it would cost@.This is a wet bottom and I'd like to convert it to a dry bottom,any suggestions?

I can't help you with the door and grates, etc. but here are a couple of places that could cast some for you. They'd probably want an original for a pattern.

Duplicast Metals of Indianapolis, IN does casting of large flywheels. The President of the company says they get $1.25 to $1.50 per lb. for casting flywheels. I'd guess that firebox doors would be about the same. Tel. No. 317-926-0745
