Default Hi guys :) Some infos + help

Nice to be here. I found your great forum from google and i bookmarked it already.

Well the last few months i am planning to built a small vehicle just for fun.
It will be a small chassis with 3 bicycle wheels. I am a bit confussed about what engine i will use. My thought is making and using an engine with compressed air or nitrogen from a tank but i dont know how efficient it will be. Another thought is steam. I am not familiar with those type of engines and i need your help. Any links, plans for bouth ideas? And of course if anyone selling parts...
If moderators think that i post it in wrong section plz move it.

Thanks a lot for your time.

Ps.Sorry for my bad english but i am from Greece.

I do not think you will have much run time if you use a tank of n2 of compressed air with no way to replenish it as you use it up. As far as steam goes you should be able to google all the plans you like. You should not need a very big engine. But that all depends on how fast you want to go.

Ok I'm new to this forum but what you might consider in the way of an engine would be a rotary cylinder block bent axis with 5 pistons in each cylinder block connected together with bent tubes one end would be an intake near the top that could be rotated and the other would have the exhaust at the bottom.
to carry one step further make it a closed loop system and route the exhaust into a heat exchanger condencer a small pump to send the liquid back to the boiler then use a low boiling temp liquid like R134 or another substance that has a low boiling point. this way much less danger in some one being badly burned in event of damage.
or build a sterling cycle engine very low temp possibilities
