Default High Temp Paint

Does anybody know the maximum operating surface temperature of a cast iron air cooled small engine. I'm not worried about the muffler & exhaust, just the engine itself. I'm trying to figure out what paint to use in this application and I want to pick something that will have adequate heat resistance. The rustolieum high temp paints will take the heat, but the finish is marginal at best and the fuel resistance is the worst I've ever seen, so consequently, I'm looking for something better. Thanks for the help.

Frank

If you have a way to heat the parts to 300+ after painting. POR20 works really well. It is thermally hardend, so it needs the heat. NO your wife will not let you use her oven.
