Default NJ Auction

Thought some may be interested in what the engines brought at auction yesterday 8-5-06 in Hackettstown NJ. Follow the link below. Conditions were anywhere from parts engines to needing only a little tinkering to get going. Majority needed some part(s) to get them running. All in all a pretty reasonable sale I thought.

Bill, Thanks for the reality check.

I see prices like this from time to time. Not all the time, but occasionally. It depends on who is there and what their motivation. I mentioned on Harrys buying a complete hit+miss engine with wico for 300 bucks at an public auction earlier this year. Well,.... I got the big belly laugh. Ha ha ha, "you better buy those all day long". I got JUST the ONE I wanted.

Looks like a nice auction, priced the way things should be.

Peter,
If my pockets had a little more money in them, had the means to move some of the bigger stuff, plus room, I would have come home with more. But, be as it is, I came home with 2 engines, niether of which were in the $300 range although, one was something I wanted plus some other goodies and had fun yet besides. Oh yea, for you tractor guys, there were some good tractor deals there on Friday.
