Webster Tripolar with weak spark

Hello Everyone,
I recently bought a new Bamford engine fitted with a Webster mag. The previous owner spent some time refurbishing the mag and fitted new coils and had the mag re-magnatized. Unfortunatley the spark still seems weak. The engine will fire a few times an then gives up. On battery and coil the engine runs fine. Any tips as to what might be the problem. I though these mags were supposed to be idiot proof!

Low tension spark: electrically simple - mechanically complicated! Everything has to be adjusted perfectly, and there cannot be much wear on the assembly, or it will not perform well. There are several posts on set up on the webster, and Doc Shulsters (sic)book (available from advertisers here on the stak) is also excellant, on set up.
