P Breisch 1/2 Scale Olds 1R Blueprint Needed

My grandfather has the castings for an Olds 1R (1-3/4HP), 1/2 scale model, castings by Paul Braisch. He has had these castings for many years. The blueprint was destroyed in a fire years ago (which he says was the reason this particular project came to a halt, he had only turned one of the flywheels when the fire hit). Fortunately though, the castings were not in the building that caught fire.

Can anyone shed light as to where a new print for these castings can be acquired, either original or photocopied?

Of interest to this project is, according to Grandpa, the full size 1R that he owns is the very engine Mr. Braisch took measurements from at a show in Ohio, from which the castings were derived. The castings in Grandpa's posession are no doubt one of the first cast for this particular model. Grandpa is 88 years old and not fimiliar with computers, so I told him I would make an attempt to find a fresh set of prints as he has shown interest in finishing this model.

I know of several people that have built the Olds. I will give them a try and see what I can come up with. Shouldn't be to hard to find.

I've got a set of the prints to the Lil Brother. You are more than welcome to copy them, I do need them back as I haven't built the engine yet.

If anybody cares, there is a Breisch or Breisch/Peters Olds casting set on evilBay right now...without the plans (Do a search for Hit and Miss )

I may have what you are looking for what size is the flywheel 8" if so I am building two of them at this time . get in touch if you need plans for the olds
