Default 1" Case stationary baler

This is a model of a Case baler that I made a number of years ago. I had seen several miniature balers at shows and wanted to build a Case to go with my traction engine. My wife had given me a book on traction engines for Christmas and in the back of the book were pictures of miscellaneous farming equipment. There was a picture of a Case baler at the Portersville, Pennsylvania show so the next year I attended the show and sure enough the baler was there. It was convenient that year there was rain so the baler wasn't being used which afforded me ample time to take measurements and photos. At the end of the day I thought I had everything I needed but when I got home and started making the drawings I found I was about 500 dimensions short of what I needed so that required another trip to Portersville. I finally had all of the dimensions to finish the drawings and then started to build the model. The gears came from a company called Stock Drive Products in New York. I designed the baler to use stock gears but still be in scale with the original machine.

Well ya did real good, except that the drive pulley is actually on the other side on the full sized baler It mounts to the flywheel. (I'm VERY familiar with that particular machine, it was my grandfather's -- My dad just sold it this summer At least it was to my cousin.)
