Help with a West Bend 40HP outboard
I am attempting to repair a West Bend 40HP outboard from somewhere between 1958 thru 1963.
I am looking for any information, especially, wiring diagrams, schematics, part identification, manufacturer literature. what the original paint colors were. And where to get parts. I will need the electrical connection that plugs to the front of the motor. Also a water impeller, and operating manual information, and some kind of starting instructions. the motor turns over easily, and I have 100psi compression. I found and drained water from the lower unit. I don't think the motor has fired in over 10 years. I found it recently, in the weeds beside an old Renkin boat that was offered to me to restore. I appreciate all and any help! Thanks
