I attended a local auction in eastern Nc today. Everything seemed to go high. Too many engine nuts in one place I guess.

2HP Taylor Vacuum with Wico mag 975.00
Stover 2HP with wico mag 1125.00
Associated 4HP no mag, no igniter 600.00
Nova vertical 110.00
New way vert 4 1/2 hp 300.00
Economy 3 1/2 HP complete 650.00
Associated 2 1/4 on cart, no mag 1350.00
Maytag 92 complete 350.00
Magestic 2 HP 650.00
Witte 2HP headless 460.00
Hercules 1 1/2 HP 1050.00
Jaeger 3 1/2 HP Wico Mag 800.00
Associated 2HP complete but stuck 900.00
Ottowa log saw, very nice condition 850.00
Woodpecker 3 HP, sad shape both flywheels cracked 1000.00
Witte saw rig, complete 5 HP 600.00
Gray 7HP complete 2100.00

I missed several more.

Why was the Novo so cheap? I would pay more for that than a maytag.

It was listed on the auction as a Nova. It was not a hopper coled Novo for sure. It was air cooled.

Or the 2 Wisconsin air-cooled (AHH with clutch, AC4)? The mess in Apex kept us from going.

I didn't stay for the buggy and cars. they were last. There were two Wisconsin engines together, one was a four cylinder inline. They went together for under a hundred.

Most of the prices are off the wall 350 for a model 92 I hope it was a side exhaust long frame, at least!

The buggy went for $ 10,100.00. I came away with the Witte and a covered wagon.
