I have an engine powered welder with the following information on the plate. Hobart Simplified Arc Welder, 200 amps, 1,500 rpm, gas-powered, serial no. CW3121. There is NO spec number or anything else on the plate.
It looks like the Chrysler powered unit pictured by Dozer but is powered by a Ford 60 hp flathead. The Miller Company says it was built in 1938 but has no other info without the spec number. None of the other sources has info on it. Does anyone have a manual or another, similar welder with the spec number? It runs and welds but I don't want to damage it. Thanks for the help, John Hamilton, Waxahachie, Texas |
