What's your time frame? If all goes well (it never does)I should have a set that I can let go of in a month or two(or 3-4) . I am reluctant to attempt copying as the sets I have are old and my not reproduce well.I am down to two complete sets and I have already promised a set to another gentleman.

Hi Buddy
Thank you very much for making contact I can wait as long as it takes there is no rush, have you any idea over how long these casting sets were made and when they stopped being produced regards Roger

Roger
If you would, send me an e-mail to the house (harloc@ktc.com) so I can file it. My memory isn't what it once was. Use the heading 'Olds Prints'.

To answer your question. I don't know all that much about the history of the Breisch Olds. The drawings where produced in 1964 and I have a signed letter from Mr. Breisch dated 6-21-91. At some point in the last few years all of the moulds where sold, and there is a rumor that they may be reproduced, but no other details. There is a post from someone that seems to know where they went, if I find it again I'll post it here.
I can tell you that the models run strong and are not particularly difficult to build. They 'feel' like they can produce about 1/2 Hp. I don't think that the 'as per print' balancing is good enough as mine tends to walk (jump)forward. I will be trying to slove that problem with the next run that I build.

Hi Rodger you may be in luck I just started this week on the olds
by paul breisch . I got the kit about four or more years ago and have not had the chance to get at em till now . I am not sure how long I will take , I have
two to build plus two associated models . I already finished the full scale
popcorn steam engine as well as a scale model of it from breisch kits .
So I think we can work something out .
