Exclamation F-M Power Station Update and Request

Please help!

We are finding homes for the machinery from an abandoned power plant and have a critical need for foundation plans and any manuals or literature we can get for the following generator sets:

Fairbanks-Morse model 32 E 12 two cylinder 2 cycle Diesel, 88 kVA generator/exciter.

Fairbanks-Morse model 38F5-1/4 300 horsepower opposed piston 2 cycle Diesel genset, 250 kVA.

Both are 3 phase, 2400 Volts, 60 cycle.

We'd also like to locate any information on the control panels for these gensets. If nothing else, generic schematics for units like these would be very helpful.

You can either donate any literature, prints, etc. to the cause (a non-profit organization) or we would be willing to pay any reasonable price for either originals or copies.

For more information about the project, you can go to the following website:

Thank you!

Default Re: F-M Power Station Update and Request

Elden,
I was searching ebay under the heading Stationary engines and I found this listing
http://ebay.com/FAIRBANKS-MORSE-32E

for a Fairbanks 32E, the seller says :
"I have all original factory erection and test records as well as all factory manuals"

so this might be a good source for you , email him tell him about your search and you might be able to get some copies.

Good Luck
~ Jonathan
