Default Witte 12.5 HP diesel electric plant

Hi,
Does anyone know the weight of the complete gen set?
I'm p/u ours tomorrow and I want to make sure I don't overload the borrowed trailer (3,000 lbs load limit).
Thanks,
Lou

Lou, the wt. listed for a CD witte in my manual is 2070 lb. Is yours a CD ? From the HP rating, I'm guessing that's what you have.

Thanks you all,
Got it home tonight.
I felt like I was adopting a child. This unit has been powering their home since 1955 (standby).
They showed me how to start it and we ran it slow for a few minutes. They also took many pictures of the loading and the trip down the driveway.
As soon as I got home I had to call them and tell them we arrived ok,
the were relieved (trailer was borderline on capacity).
Thanks again,
Lou

Congrats on your "adoption". You will enjoy it. I just love the sound of mine, it doesn't pop, snort, & fart like hit & misses, it just pounds away relentlessly all day, never misses a beat...
