Default b & s oil filter

I have a Coleman 3500 wt 7hp ohv commercial briggs and stratton engine. I bought it used. I would guess it to be about 6 years old.
It has a screw on type oil filter.
the model # is no longer readable and without it Sears can't identify the oil filter I need.
Does anyone know the filter # used?

thanks, mike coco

Ignoring your mention of "coleman" and "briggs stratton" -

Focusing on your mention of "sears", "3500", "Oil filter" -

You may have a Generac generator (made for Sears) with a GN series
engine. These engines have oil pumps (briggs don't), and can usually be
identified by "OHVI" embossed on the valve cover.

If so, your oil filter is likely Fram PH4967 or equivalent.

Zeromedic,
thanks for the reply.
I must have been high on exhaust fumes when I posted Coleman, the generator is a craftsman.
Other than that, I bet you are right.
The cover says OHV and I did not actually see B&S, I just assumed it was.

I will check out the filter you mentioned.

thanks so much.
