Default 1915 Buick

Been inspired by Gary (again). My grandfather ,Archie Lahey , bought a Buick tourer new in 1915, I've heard they hard terrible headlights, which were later changed, but the first pic shows a spot light which Archie rigged up, it's connected to the tie rod so when he turned a corner the light turned too. They soon out grew the Buick and bought a Grahme Page, a huge thing, the Buick was then stripped (2nd Pic) and turned into a ute to use in his sawmill, carting fire wood and timber till the mill sold. My grandad died and uncle Merv took over the Buick, he died a few years ago and my younger brother Ian now owns it and still goes on rallys. It has been in the Lahey family all its life and is the oldest registration number in the state, still displaying it's original number Q1-744 .Tyres are a bit of a problem to get, think Merv imported the last set. Simple things like fan belts (flat) are home made too.

BK,
I'm inspired by you! Thanks so much posting your photos. Would your grandfather have later been in the engineering department for Tucker?
