Default What Does This Fit???

I have a transmission in my minature dozer and i need a part for it. The dozer is a 1954 so it would have to be before that. There are numbers on it, on the right side its 661358 and on the left its 7-23. I think it might be from an early jeep of some kind but im not sure? Any help would be greatly Appreciated.

jk, you might post the pic you have of the other side of the tranny with those numbers too. Someone might recognize them.

If you have the spring, take it down to your favorite auto parts store. They may be able to match it up to something that would go into something newer.
Or......take a li'l drive out in the country and look in all sorts of out of the way places...barnyards, tree rows, rock piles, whatever and see if there's a vehicle that might have a trans like yours. Possibly the owner will be willing to oblige you in some way.
