Default tis the season

Evening one and all: Well the big box merchants would have us believe that Christmas is soon upon us, personally I would rather look at the calendar as the merchants would have us believe the season starts the day after Thanksgiving . What snow we had is all but gone as temps have been in the plus range for the last couple of days, really feels like the end of March and not the middle of December. Christmas though is not about snow, but as with Thanksgiving, it is a time to be with family and friends, a time to give from the heart, not from the wallet, a time to share, a time to reflect.

So, that being said, I would like to wish everyone here, those of you I know, those of you who have touched me somehow [I meant that mentally not physically ]. I hate to mention names for fear of forgetting someone, but to Craig, Collin B., German George, David P., Malcolm R. [thanx for the card] Gary Y., Mike Mc., Gee W., Ross C., Randy K., Tim S., Beth V., Jeff V., Tony T., Farquhar, Harry F., and to everyone else I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Have a joyous and safe holiday .

Be well,...................The Curran family

After coming home from a funeral home this evening it really hits home as to what is important this time of the year, family and friends.

As the unofficial spokesperson of the "Milton Mafia" I would like to extend best wishes of the season to you Bob, Rick (G) and to all our other friends both sides of the border.

Criag: Gots one of those setting in the front room here tonight. Nice thing about 9' ceilings is buying big trees. Bought one that had a fresh cut put on the bottom of about 3-4" and still had to take a foot out of the crown to get the angel on .

Eric: Can Santy get a 75 Best down your chimney? Thats the problem with them darn direct vent furnaces, kinda limits the size of gift you find under the tree in the morning.

Seasons greetings to all. I am really glad to ahve a stie like this to share and talk about old machines. Will you take a picture of the Best 75 at the Reynolds-Alberta Museum in her working days. Get a load of the hand wheel used to raise and lower the blade on the front.

All the best for Christmas and for 2007

Mr. Sawyer 11-22 must be working extra overtime at the brew-haus to get lots of suds ahead for New Year's Eve as he has been quiet lately. That doesn't mean we can let the Christmas greetings slide?
Today is the shortest daylight day. Tomorrow, we get a little more sun every day. Why, spring is right around the corner! It is almost time to get them tractors oiled and greased and ready to go! We had a fine visitor from British Columbia on Saturday. He had pictures of running his big, single cylinder Oil Pull. Now that was nice! You can run those old Rumelys any time of the year with oil cooling. That'll bring you Christmas cheer.
Once again, all the best and have a great Holiday.
G.
