I have been trying to find any information I can on any truck that the J.I. Case plow works built. I heard that they made one from a guy I know, He told me that they built a truck using the same 4 cylinder motor as the wallis tractor that J.I. Case plow works built. and he met a guy that told him that he knew where one was. he did not ask the guy his name or where it was at.
I did post a thread on the www.aths.org forums and they could not come up with much of anything besides that they might have been built between 1920 and 1923. but all the books that have been written they said disagree on the facts. so if anybody knows anything I would really appreciate hearing anything. Thanks tom. |

I saw a picture of a Case truck, in some old advertising photos a few yrs ago. It was shown hooked to a thresher, as it had a belt pulley attachment.
I may have a copy of it somewhere, but right now, I can't remember where it is/would be. My thoughts were that it used the same engine as one of the cross motor Case tractors. Could be wrong there too tho. I'm getting used to this senility. At least now I have an excuse for forgetting stuff..

On page 67 of 150 Years of J.I. Case there is a short story on this truck, if you didn't already know of this, it goes on to say that it was announced in 1921 and it was made by the plow works, it also did have the same engine installed as the same current tractor models, have you tired contacting David at http://www.farmmachineryadvertise.com/ and see if they might have a member that may have a 1921 catalog or newer, C.H. Wendel did have a picture in this book so you might try and ask where it came from, I have several catalogs from the plow works however none are that new and they had no such information in them to help your quest, let us know what you find!

I have the blue colored book but I m not sure if there was any changes to the new reprints, I guess you could ask the sellar to make sure that what you are looking for is on that page I gave you, another thought is to contact http://www.aaca.org and see if they can look in their archives for anything pertaining to Wallis or the Case Plow works.
