Question Universal Fisherman engine

A friend in one of my antique engine club affiliation's, has bought a Universal Fisherman single cylinder inboard engine, as well as a parts engine. We are trying to locate any information about the engine, or the company that built it, as well as possibly when it was built. The engine is all cast iron, has a seperate head with a fish cast into it The head is cast iron as well. It is of 4 cycle design, both valves mechanically operated, both in block (L head design). Thanks in advance,
Andrew
