Default KW Master Vibrator

Could someone explain this KW vibrator. Used on a Model T Ford I believe. It has a three position switch: Battery - Off - Magneto.
It seems to contain a buzz coil with three binding posts for electrical connections marked "Bat.", "Com" & "Mag".
What I don't understand is there seems to be no binding post for high tension out to spark plug?

Default Re: KW Master Vibrator

Well... As I understand it when you use a master vibrator you tighten down all the points on the 4 coils.... And the one set of points on the master vibrator does all the vibrating. The good point is there's only one set of points to maintain... The original coils still step up the voltage to jump the plugs....

The Bad point is if the points fail you are Done.... Where with the points working on all the coils if one set fails you can still limp along on 3 cylinders.....

There were Lots of Rube Goldberg ignition systems for the Model T.... Even an electronic one in the last few years.... but the electronic version will only work on Battery...

Looks like the one you have was designed for a 2 cylinder car.... Unless there more terminals I'm not seeing...
