Try these 3 model makers/suppliers:R.W.Machine, Whitestown,IN.[317-769-6798];Debolt Machine Inc., Zanesville, OH. [740-454-8082];and Bob Herder,Califon,N.J.[908-832-4184]. They all have model casting kits.

If worst comes to worst, you could do as I have done in the past. I have used cast iron caster wheels for several of my model engines, and they have worked out quite well and run very smoothly.

I have made flywheels from cast iron valve handles, salvaged from a junkyard! One set had 4 serpentine spokes

RW machine is a kit supplier of copper and ready cut parts kits that require maching to finish. In various styles looks a lot like the old what is called tin plate table top engineshttp://members.Iquest.net/~rwmachine/
I have bought a number of them ,but yet have gotten around to building them. They are nice for starting out if you don't have a lot of stock to play with.

Don't know if they carry 6" dia I know they have 8" and larger as they are more into IC olds style engines. The new website is nice.http://www.pmresearchinc.com/home.htm
Has a good selection of flwheels at the shows they attend on both cast iron and bronze.
