I have a Partner 1616 type 3 chainsaw and I am unable to find any info on it. I need to know the oil to fuel mixture ratio.

Leland.
any small engine repair/ sales can give you a good mixture ratio. 2 cycle oil is about a 20:1 or 30:1 mix. synthetics are less john |

If engine was built in early 1960s or earlier, 16:1 (1/2 cup SAE 30 Non detergent oil/gallon gas should work - some engines even used heavier mix, for example, Fairmont railway engines use 12:1 and SAE 40 NON Detergent oil, Pacific Engineering fire pumpers also used 12:1, and even used 8:1 for break in! I also had an early 1950s vintage Jacobsen 2 cycle, that used an 8:1 mix (smoked like a bugger cold, but cleared up when hot)
