Default Sears Generator with 2 Cyl Wisconsin

Hello all. I just found this site as a result of searching for information on a generator I bought yesterday. It is a Sears Model 533.3113E, Catalog No. 3113. It is powered by a Wisconsin 2 cylinder engine (Model THD) turning at 1800 RPM, making 110AC, 220AC and 5000 Watts. The thing weighs a ton (maybe 500 pounds--nearly maxed out the hydraulics on my limited category 1 tractor and bucket). Search for OEM suppliers by using their identification number (the 3 numbers before the decimal point in the Sears model number (in this case I was searching for OEM No. 533)) did not turn up the maker of the generator. Any guesses??? And, can anyone point me in the right direction for additional information. Many thanks. This is a great site. Keep up the good work.

Is the generator direct mounted, or belt driven?
I made a set up with a Wisconsin THD and a Sears 4,000 Watt 115/230 Volt generator head belted to it. My generator is a 580.xxxxx which makes it a Generac made unit. This gen needs to turn 3600 rpm and the pulleys I used have the engine running at 2100.
I could not find a 533.xxxxx supplier on the chart that I know of. You can see it here:
Sears Supplier List.
If you can post a picture, it would help identify your set.

wd-45---just upgraded to 12 vdc 1-wire alternator -- and replaced the points and coil with modernized electronics---too cold to finish the job---have almost finished a new 3 point hitch to work with the swinging drawbar---have a 2-1/2 foot carbide toothed saw to mount on the front to run off the pulley to cut fire wood---hope to finish this spring--just in time to mow the yard and the neighbor's field---they are nice tractors--easy to fix -- getting popular now that john deeres and other tractors have become more expensive

John, That looks like a Generac unit on yours. I have a smaller 2.5kw unit on mine, they're 3600 rpm are they not?

hello

i ruled out generac because the company's 3 digit code code number (the first three digits of the sears part or model number is a code for the original egipment manufacturer) is "580".....to help others who might have sears generators (or other electrical equipment), here are the code numbers i have found:

113 emerson electric co.
114 pioneer gen-e-motor
143 tecumseh (lawson)
160 wisconsin magneto
417 stover engine works
500 briggs & stratton corp.
517 homelite
580 generac
682 clinton engine co.
733 fairbacks-morse co.
739 onan
745 o&r engines
785 general power

i'm sure there are more...and it's possiblr that companies had more than one oem code number

hello again
here's are some pictures of another generator powered by a 2 cylinder wisconsin...it is a "Micro Power" unit --- it's for sale on e-bay right now--that's where i got these pictures---the photos are not perfect--but they do give the viewer a good idea about how this unit looks -- it seems much bigger than brian's and my winco units
