Default 28 buick, pickup hot rod

Hello I have a 1928 Buick that was made into a stripped down hot rod in the 40s and later bought by my grandfather in 1950. He cut the frame and used it for a stationary engine to pull a large grist mill. I am trying to make it back into a hot rod truck and not use anything newer than 1950 so it will look authentic. if anyone has any 26-28 Buick Master parts or even parts from other makes of similar style. I need alot to finish it. Let me know what you have? I need the arm on the steering box, suspention and interior parts as well as some other missing items.
I plan on leaving it rough for that beverly hillbilly look. So far i have got a 35-36 chevy pickup rear end a 33 plymouth tube front axel and 17 inch wire spoke rims I put Model A ford headlights on it and they fit. It has been fitted with a downdraft carb. I added a heater and modern oil filter.

I am still working on it and will probably get it finished in the next year. I hope. It takes a while to bring something back from the scrap and get it roadworthy. If it was more there I would have tried to restore it but i don't think there are many authentic stripped down hot rods form the 40 left. Most were crushed years ago. This one would have been too if my grandfather hadn't needed it for the engine. There is an old fellow I know who is in his late 80s who said that thing used to fly up and down the dirt roads around the small town.

Hi Andy, I found your post while looking for something else. Have you found more parts to further its restoration?

It could look like this. Oh, wait. This is just a 1:18 scale toy.
