If you haven't checked them already, two Mopar sites that come to mind are P15-D24.com and allpar.comm/net/org?, and there are no doubt more on Google. Rebuilders may have what you need (not clear if you need the dist shaft or the drive gear/slot) (probably turn some up Googling Distributor Rebulders etc) if the archives on the Mopar sites don't recommend any. Good luck.

I'd also try the Plymouth Owners Club. They do have a website, but you'd probably do better to contact the club's technical advisor for the '29 model. You should be able to look up his name & email address off the club website. If not, PM me & I'll send it to you.

Thumbs up Re: 29 Plymouth Distributor Drive

I have a 29 Ply and also needed a distributor drive. If you will contact Tom Hannaford at Antique Auto Parts Cellar 718-335-1579 they make their version of this drive and housing. They have a whole new bronze cast base and gears for #395.00 He is well versed in this drive and can supply any needed info. Usually the original 90 deg. base is not usable because it was made of pot metal. THEIR gears and shaft only fit THEIR base. (job security I guess) Hope this helps. Happy Motoring!!!! - Rich
