Default Warning: New Virus

Just wanted to post info on this new virus.(don't see how it could hurt my puter any more than I have)

Subject: Extremely Bad Virus Warning!!!

Guys,

I just received this a few minutes ago from Pat Park and thought it was important enough to pass directly to Y'all!!!

Importance: High WARNING - Bad, Bad, Bad Virus!I checked with Norton Antivirus and they are gearing up for this virus so I believe this is real. I checked snopes. com and this is for real. Get this sent around to your contacts ASAP... we don't need this spreading around.READ AS SOON AS POSSIBLE PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS:You should be alert during the next days: Do not open any message with an attached filed called 'Invitation' regardless of who sent it. It is a virus that opens an Olympic Torch which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer.. This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list, that is why you should send this e-mail to all your contacts. It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it. If you receive a mail called 'invitation' If you receive a mail called do not open it and shut down your computer immediately. This is the worst Virus announced by CNN, it has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.SEND THIS E-MAIL TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW. COPY THIS E-MAI L AND SEND IT TO YOUR FRIENDS AND REMEMBER: IF YOU SEND IT TO THEM, YOU WILL BENEFIT ALL OF US SO FAR ALL IS GOOD-- ONLY THE SCAMMERS ARE HITTING ME AND THEY ARE USING A GROUP MAILING TO ALL WITH GOODIES FOR SALE- BUT NOTHING LAST NIGHT OR TODAY.......Care enough to pass the word !!!

It won't hurt your computer because it is a hoax. Rather than my posting different sites, I will just say google "Invitation virus" and read the info for yourself! Helen

Well then here's another warning (came from the same person as the invitation virus warning came from)

I hate it when people forward bogus warnings and stuff, and I've even
done it myself a couple of times unintentionally, but this one is real and
it's important. So please send this warning to everyone on your E-
mail list.

If someone comes to your front door saying they are checking for
ticks due to the warm weather and asks you to take your clothes off
and dance around with your arms up, DO NOT DO IT!! THIS IS A SCAM!!
They only want to see you naked.

I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so used.
