Default Seek info on old Stewart air compressors fitted to old cars via driveshaft gear / PTO

Hi, I read in an 1990s era Gas Engine Magazine back issue, a paragraph about an air compressor pump of the model T era made by stewart. The pumps were apparently driven off the driveshaft via a gear or they may have been PTO driven. Does anyone have any info or photos pertaining to these compressors? Any help would be appreciated.

Daniel

Daniel,
Here are a couple photos of Stewart compressor w/ gear that is moved axially into & out of mesh with the lever. They seem to be fairly common & were used in many applications.

Thank you Doug,
That is the type I was looking for. I am going to post an ad in the want ad section for one. I remember seeing one of these years ago at a swap meet, and I wish I would have picked it up back then. Does anyone know the approimate years that these were produced, and/or the bore and stroke dimensions?

Thanks again,
Daniel
