Default Need Help: Available Truck Co--Crane Carrier Corp.

Available Truck Co. was a m'f'r beginning in 1910 or so, doing well in the early years but less well in the 30's, producing specialty models and concentrating on heavy rigs; they were bought by Crane Carrier Corp in 1957 or so, and CCC produced them for a year or so before putting CCC on their trucks. Individuals who contacted CCC for info re' Available models have been unsuccessful. I have two questions:
(A): Does anyone here know, or remember hearing anything about whether CCC retained the Available Truck Co records pertaining to individual Available models, production totals or such (or whether such records were lost or destroyed) and, if kept, whether anyone has obtained indivdual-model info???
(B) Does anyone here have a relative, a friend or a friendly contact inside CCC, who might be willing to make discreet inquiries as to whether such records were kept, and if they were possibly do some own-time digging if the case is that CCC has such records but is reluctant to have employees engage in non-revenue producing digging (which would be perfectly understandable from a business cost-revenue standpoint).
Many thxx for any comments or suggestions.!!
