Default LeRoi H 540 and H 844

Were they based on the same block series, or were they a small block and big block. Note I use the term " small block " very loosely.

First of all I doubt it. The 540 & 570 take the same block and probably the 844 & 884 take the same blocks. The big engine has main bearings that are a half inch larger in diameter, plus a 3/4 inch increase in bore diameter is just about going to dictate a different center to center bore spacing.

Thank you very much, John. Can you please tell me if the 570 is gas or diesel, and the bore x stroke of the 570.
