Default ??????????staker??????????

What is a staker? One who BBQ's steaks in the yard or one who just fixes fences with posts or a man setting up a tent? I know since the age of computers there are lots of new words that had not been used in the past. But for the life of me what does an old engine have to do with stakes. I like mine well done not rare.

A stacker is a (smoke)staker, or a person from this sight

This site is called, Smoke"stak", therefore we are "stakers". I myself have to get used to lots of new computer lingo, I remember a few years ago when I first got my computer and had no idea what, "lol" meant.

Gene: It seems that I may have ruffles some feathers in my salutation earlier. For that I do apologize as I meant no ill intent. I simply shortened the term SMOKESTAK to the plural "Stakers" meaning all of you subscribers out there in computer land that may be able to help me with my ongoing delima. P.S. I like mine Prime and Medium Rare-----Mooooo!! Just cut of the horns, slap it on the butt and send it out :-)!

I have always felt that we who frequent the Stak should be Stakkers. Another option would be to add an apostrophe to be Stak'ers.
However, I am of the opinion that this issue probably isn't worth getting worked up over.

I guess we should decide whether it should be 'Stakers, 'Stackers, 'Stakkers,
or 'Stak'ers...Maybe we could turn this into a poll!

I had the same problem with lol until I went to my best "friend", Google. He told me straight forward what it meant, and by the way (BTW) I'm a [Stakr].

If any one is interested, which I doubt, how about regional dialects. I live in Southern Illinois and when I want to turn some thing over I "dump it" over. Now do you all "tump it" over, or something else?

Now that's another "can of worms"!

Well, I think Harry would be the Stakor, and we would be the Stakees.

Gene;

BTW it's a short "A" and not a long "AAAA". My spell check has several possibilities for my spelling of "Stak". It could be: stack, stake, steak, stalk, stank, stark.

I also agree with Bill. I think Harry is THE Stakor and us subscriber and registered members are the Stakees.
