Default Galloway Ignitor

I have a Galloway that has an ignitor for use with battery and coil. The main spring is not looking well and it has alot of troubles snaping back into position. Is there anywhere that supplies said springs, and any one else who is running such a system. I have been thinking of making my own coil and using a 12 volt battery. Thoughts and pictures?

Dude, I have not dug into my 3hp Gal. yet. It also uses low tension igniter and will probably face the same issue.

Any of the magneto sponsors on Harry's should be able to help.

Here's a link to ID your's and might help a little;

Thanks Rick:

I have posed the same question to Rudy Adrien and am awaiting to see what he says.

I am thinking I will build myself a coil and have found some interesting plans from the internet. I am looking and creating a 4 amp draw on a 12volt 7 amp hour gel cell battery. That should have a kick-ass spark to it.

I am hoping not to have to get into custom springs, I hear that is expensive.
