Wayne, it looks similar to a couple of trucks that a guy in KS has for sale. One a Chevy and the other a GMC. I would say they rolled off the same line. Here's the link to his vehicles.

Per a couple of my parts catalogs that's a GMC (rather than a Chev); the T-19 shows a produced from 1927 to 1931 in a 50 catalog, all with "Pontiac" or "200" engine, presumeably the Pontiac 200 in JKW's post. One of the GM trucks was named Maple Leaf in later years, if I'm remembering correctly.

I may've spoken too soon on the Maple Leaf/Mapleleaf...there seems to've been a Mapleleaf produced in Canada in the 20's (only year mentioned is 1923), using Hinckley engines:
11/2 Ton HinckleyHAA300
Model AA 2 Ton HAA400
Model BB 3 Ton HAA500
Model CC 4 Ton HAA200 (that's what it says)
Another catalog shows the AA/2Ton with the 300, the BB and CC, 3 and 4 Ton, with the 500, and Model DD, 5Ton, HA1600...
A third non-engine catalog lists it as Maple Leaf. It's not in Mroz's US truck book, so must've been Canadian built or assembled, but it seems doubtful GM would use Hinckley engines...
WAYNE: I saw somewhere that GMCanada has ( or maybe had) a Historical Vehicle Service that would verify model #'s, serial numbers and production dates, but apparently didn't note it at the time.

Bonnet, cowl, lights, mudguard and running boards, are identical to 28-29 Chev. Front wheels appear to be steel spokes, whereas Chev had wooden front and steel (artillery) rears. and their own engine, 6cyl came in in 1929.
Maple-leaf was a Chev built in Canada, my Dad had a 39 and a 46 , here's a photo of the 39.

Here are what the rear wheels and brakes look like, the front brakes have nifty setup, simple but workable.

It all looks very similar to my 28 Chev truck Wayne, those rear brakes use both sides of the brake drum, hand brake on the inside, foot brake on the outside.
Front ones have a different (better) adjuster then the
chev, The front brakes are very similar to todays air brake set up on semi trailers, the shoes have a roller on one end and operate on a cam, all that's missing is the air chamber.

That is a good sized log on the truck in your picture, I bet it made the old girl grunt. What kind of wood would you call it.
