Just a note here, guys:
"Coleman Fuel" or "Camp Fuel" used to be "white" gasoline or gasoline without any additives. Today, "Camp Fuel" is Naphtha. Now, I don't know if white gas and naphtha are the same but the smell of the exhaust reminds me of when I was a kid mowing grass. We used white gas in the mower because it was cheaper than "ethyl". Colemans fuel isn't the same as white gas. It was formulated to have a better smell and most importantly be far less hazardous for fire or explosions. You had to be extremely careful filling a gas lantern white gas. The admonition to let the lantern cool down completely before refueling was the only smart thing to do. I would really like to find out what is Colemans Fuel. Anyone know what the MSDS is?? Les
