I think it is a Diamond REO. The Hubcapps give it away.

I am sure it is a Diamond T. The Diamond Reo came later.

I would say that you have a Diamond T chassis with and aftermarket bus body. The wheels and hood give away Diamond T but the flat windshield leads me to believe that another company built the bus body.

It's the same with school busses today. A chassis is purchased from International, GM, Ford, or somewhere and shipped to the bus body manufacturer. Blue Bird, Ward, Thomas are a few of those. All they get is the frame, drivetrain, wheels, etc, plus the hood and front fenders. The bus body drops onto the chassis and finished out and shipped to the dealer who ordered it for a customer. That's why the strange windshield and wiper arrangement.

'38 or '39 Diamont T. Only those two years had the narrow grille bars. Pretty rare thing to see one in that good condition!
