Phil, I've been collecting toy electric motors for quite a while, never saw that one. The flywheels are obviously cast iron, and the engine base looks like iron also. Is the battery case plastic? Pretty neat little motor.

Hi Gus, The base is plastic. I think it is at least 50 years old. My dad got it when I was a kid. There are no markings on it. It does run. Thanks Phil

This motor is called a atomotor. There is one on Utube. I sure would like to find one to replace the worn out one that I have. Any help finding one would be appreciated.

Thanks Phil
