Default Can't view thumbnails

Seems like the last day or so when I try to view a thumbnail photo only the top of the picture will load and the everything will stop. The bar at the bottom of the screen says "Done" but the photo never finishes loading. Never had this problem before. Could it be high traffic count, or my ISP, or something I did inadvertently? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I miss seeing all the great pictures of other folk's stuff.

Happy New Year!

Rusty

Hello Rusty, don't know how much I can help, as I'm certainly no wiz But here goes. I think it is probably your ISP, and if it was working before, probably just temporary, as you said maybe due to high traffic. I believe when you get only half of the picture your browser is timing out, before it can load the picture. Then it is saved to temporary files or maybe the cache on your puter. Then when you click it again or click reload, instead of giving it an honest chance to load from the site, your puter pulls up the half image files from the temp or cache. I don't know how to fix this. Usually if I just wait until my next on line session, and the picture will load.
Maybe some one else will give you some real help

Thanks for your reply, Bill. Guess it was my ISP or high traffic, 'cause today every thing works well again. Funny how I cuss this thing (my 'puter) when my access to the whole world slows down a bit. Just have to remember when getting an answer or a photo took a week or ten days by snail mail. And I had to know specifically who to ask. WOW!
