Question Ignition wire

Does anyone know if Packard 440 solid wire ignition cable is available with red casement sheathing, instead of the usual black? I am restoring a 1951 ALF 527 CI V 12 engine, and mice have chewed the red casement ignition wiring to bits! It must have tasted better than the black, as the black is nearly untouched!!!

I have bought wire from Bill Lopoulos...the stuff I have is the red with black tracers...maybe not exactly what you want but it looks good...he also has other colors available. He advertises on this board as do others who carry this sort of wire, so it should be easy to find something to your liking.

Andrew
It was probably cherry flavored. Not to many like black liqorish.

I keep some 7mm red silicone metallic core wire for magnetos it's made by Taylor Wire. Taylor makes all colors of wire now. If you want the cloth braided wire plain or other colors check with Brillmans. There is a dealer locator on the Taylor site also.
