Smile MEP017A dieselpower

Well after all the help from jim on the wiring , i started putting the unit together i completed the fuel system and started putting the controlbox i will keep most of the military gauges in exeption for the load gauge which i replace with a military AMP gauge , most of the military wiring will be gone so it should be a clean install as i have wire it for single phase , i tok some pictures and looking foward to complete it in the next few weeks so i can load tested.

That looks like a Yanmar L-series air-cooled diesel on that.

The MEP017A was originally a gas-powered unit. Did the military retrofit those with Diesel engines?
