Photo Detroit Motor Car Supply Co. (Sandow)

Stationary vertical 2hp hopper cooled Sandow 2 cycle engine manufactured by Detroit Motor Car Supply Co. of Detroit Michigan. The first hopper cooled Sandow engines were built in 1911. These engines were manufactured in 2.5hp, 4hp & 6hp.

Thanks Bruce, but I can't really take the credit because its pretty much the way it was when I got it except I changed the muffler and cleaned the engine.

Nice looking engine John,
I have also seen several that were painted what I would describe as an orangish red color, slightly more red than a Galloway.
