Copy and paste them to your desktop. Then upload them to this site.

It would be easier to talk to you on the phone and explain it. Send me your phone # BTW, can you be on line and use the phone at the same time ??

Try this. It is from someone else having the same problem. I just went thru it again because I don't upload very often...and forget how. Follow instructions closely. I finally went to bed and tried again next day. Finally did it.
Craig Anderson ........you have to upload the photos from your computer. Simply entering YOUR computer's image address won't do the trick. After you have typed your message in the window scroll further down the page to the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS button and click on it. Then click on the BROWSE button which will let you find the photos on your computer you wish to upload. Once you have selected the desired images click on the UPLOAD button and WAIT until you see the new image icons appear in that window. If you wish to add more (up to 4 images per post) go through the same deal again and when finished click CLOSE THIS WINDOW. BEFORE you hit the SUBMIT button PREVIEW your post so you KNOW things are going to be as you want them to be....... Try this first. Right click the photo and click "save as"
You want that photo on your desk top. Make sure you have that in the top box. Click "save" Now go to your desk top and see if the photo is there. Make sure you know the name of it. Jim |

Dan
That is exactly the way to do it, BUT Chris wants to copy a photo from the net and then upload it. If he follows my directions, he should be able to do it. Chris, read what Dan just posted and understand it. Let me know and we can go from there. Jim |

Send me your phonee # and save the page on your screen. Then get off line and I will call you to find out what is going on. Also, post the address of the photo here.

It needs to be in a jpeg format and sized less than 640 or it won't upload to the "Stak"...Once you save the photo to your desktop (or I prefer to store them in "my documents"). you've gotta move them to a photo program and get them in a jpeg format and resize them....THEN you can upload them to this site.

I went to that site and all of the photos I saved was .jpg He is trying to save a photo to his desk top so he can then upload it here. I have no trouble saving them. I have no idea what he is doing. His post has nothing to do with uploading here. If he would respond, I could help him. Jim |

You don't. Attached photos become a part of the archived thread that they are stored with. Deleting them would render the discussion of the topic at hand totally useless.
The exceptions to this are when there are more photos than needed to convey the message or if there are duplicate photos. A moderator can be contacted to delete them. The other exception is the TEST board where you can delete them yourself. |
