Default Re: Waukesha ?s

Can tell you a little...4cyl XAH, per comments on one of the forums, is the water pump version of the XA (altho it seems I saw somewhere the XAH has slightly larger bore)...
XA's and XAH's were used in various stuff, the ones that come to mind being various 31-37 IH trucks (can advise model #'s) and some immediately prewar or postwar Fairmont Railcars (all collectors items now); have seen posts re' XAH power units, and my understanding is they were fairly popular little engines.
Ahhh: 30 gasket catalog lists XA 33/4x4, shows no XAH.
Later bearing book shows XAH as 35/8x41/2, so apparently not really "same" engine, altho may share some parts. If you have any of the engine, IH collectors probably good place to start.
