I like the 8n. I can't see you doing much plowing in the field with those. Would they have been for rolling asphalt? Farmers use large rollers to flatten the fields up here, but they pull them behind the tractor.

Once upon a time I buoght a ford with a front end loader that had similar tires but they had a thin layer of rubber on them like a forklift, The loader was used at a glass factory for cleaning up broken glass.

Looks like an orchard tractor. Maybe an aftermarket modification for orchard work as I don't think Ford N's were ever mass produced for that task.

Joe,
That's my middle son, and ain't no way that I'd tell him he has on girlie sun glasses, not even jokin. He's 6ft. 3 and weights around 260. "USUALLY" pretty tame. |

The guy that has this tractor is (of course) goin to restore it. Yeah, I believe that too. He says that he will trade those wheels to someone that is building another one of these. The guy said that this is a sod roller. The wheels are very well made , homemade wheels. They are 28 inches wide and guite thick. He says that this is an 8N Ford. I don't know if it is an 8N or a 9N. But it's something you don't see every day.
