Default Onan 2.5aj-1R31/8400m

I was given 2 Onan 2.5AJ-1R31/8400M. I am looking for a service manual. They are both set up for natural gas and I would like to convert them to gasoline. Can anyone help with this. Thanks in advance for the info..

Hi Rob,
Look at the carburetors to see if they have the choke plate installed already. May have tri-fuel carbs on them. If not then you will need gasoline carburetors and fuel supply system. Gravity from tank or low pressure fuel pump. You might want to consider running them from small 20# or larger propane tanks. There you will only need your tank and regulator from a BBQ grill. Does your unit have the demand regulators on them? They are needed for Natural gas and propane. I have a tri-fuel carb on mine. I have auto start and use propane to start and if I am around I switch over to gasoline when it gets warmed up, and then switch back over to propane for a while before I shut back down to dry the carb out.
