Waukesha FC Production And Rotation-CW?? CCW?? Both??

In digging around for info on the Case Waukesha engine question posted below, I just remembered that in a 1986 B-W ignition catalog there are separate distributor listings for FC's "with CW rotation" and "with CCW rotation".
This catalog also lists FC's with AL dist's 59-65 and 66-67, with Delco's 63-67 and 68-71 (the 68-71 listings are the ones that have the CW/CCW rotation notes).
The latest FC listing is an "FC-4", with Delco, 1972-73.
Magneto engines are not broken down by model or year.
Questions: Did this catalog mean just the dist's were CW or CCW, or (as appears from the catalog) the different FC variations rotated differently???
I hadn't seen any FC installations later than postwar 40's, and assumed they were excess inventory then (engine was introduced in late 20's/early 30's); were they really produced up into the early 70's???

It could mean both. Most waukesha's were available in standard rotation (ccw) and opposite rotation (cw). The accessory drives were sometimes set up for both sides of the geartrain. Depending on where the mag was mounted it could be for the mag. All later nat gas mags (altronic) are set up to run either direction.
