I just about done with my first hit and miss just waiting for the point jig.Any how for the inspection plate what length are the screws?I don't want to add more weight than necessary for balancing purposes.I bead blasted the flywheel.I think it came out pretty good!

1/2" long should do the trick.

I know what will work just wondering what the original length was.

Shiftless,
Make them just long enough to reach through the cover and all the thread depth in the flywheel. Or whatever closest - off the shelf length there is.
The way those things jump around noone would ever guess you threw your flywheel wildly out of balance by an extra 1/8 inch of thread.
