at an auction in raymond iowa a pair of ardun heads sold for 8250.00 they were missing a few valves...

Smile Vintage Ardun heads

at an auction in raymond iowa a pair of ardun heads sold for 8250.00 they were missing a few valves otherwise all there. is this a high or low price? Its the first pair i have seen other than photos. steve

If they were in decent shape, that would be a good deal for the buyer. Vintage flattie speed equipment is pretty hot and a set of vintage Ardun heads is top shelf stuff.

Yep, Original Ardun heads are as rare as hens teeth and very very spendy !
Doesn't surprise me one iota !

Zora Arcus Duntov would probibally recon they were cheap !

When I was in the fire service our Dept had 3 F-6s with flatties equipped with Ardun's. I don't know if it made much difference responding to calls, but we had fun showing them off after they were retired and on the muster circuits 30 yrs ago.

Arduns are being reproduced
