Default Info Please!

I just got my grubby little paws on a neat little generator set, which belonged to a municipal entity. It is ex-military, going by the O.D. Green on the tinwork and air intake on the engine.
It is a Wisconsin model AKND, Serial No. 2511531; Speck No. 118482.
It is coupled to a Fairbanks generator, model 25-X-36; serial no. A342. It is a 3600 RPM unit.
I'm curious as to age of this set. Any other info pertaining to it would be most welcome.

Thanks, Harry!
