Lou: Pardon me if I'm telling you what you already know...
Roiline is the name Wauk gave to the LeRoi engines they continued to build after taking LeRoi over...Wauk supposedly dropped all the smaller LeRoi's (and supposedly destroyed all the manuals and parts, to get the engines off the market, to sell replacements)...
But I don't know if Wauk (now part of Dresser) kept anything for the midsize LeRoi's. My understanding is the Roiline's were all larger industrial power units (I've got some brochures here somewhere) for city water and sewer etc systems, etc., some running on sewer gas.
The latest bearing catalog I have is 93/4, and it lists the LeRoi H884 and TH 884, so the Roiline may well be exactly the same engine (not that it makes it any easier)...
Is that the V8 truck engine?? If so, you might try truck sites like atca.com and aths.org...
On the water pump, if the casting is OK, and you can't ID the builder, one of the rebuilding outfits may be able to resurrect it...
Arrow Eng'g supports some Wauks, but I don't think any Roilines are on their list...the Wauk Engine Hist'l Soc has some Wauk manuals "...not available from Dresser...", but I don't know if they have any Roiline...and you can put a want on EBay... With sympathy, Bud

I would get the water pump rebuilt unless the casting is bad. A few years ago there were still some Leroi's pumping water on irrigation wells in the Texas panhandle. Also that basic engine was used in a 10 ton Army truck. You might try some of the surplus places. A word of caution, some basic military engines are not the same as the domestic civilian models. What parts do you need?

The engine is on an emergency power generator that is in a
20 story condo Bldg, the water pump is beginning to seep a little.
I've been telling them for 3 years to get a new unit but ya know how that goes

Bud
Thanks for the info. Most of that I already did know, been researching this for a couple of weeks now.

I think it's time for my customer to get a new genset.

You might want to contact M & M surplus as well as the post below with the DD-298 Hercules. Also look up Autocar trucks. If they have a historical group they may know of a source. It was used as an optional engine in the 50's in an Autocar truck.
