Default New wheels

Just thought some people would want to see the pictures of this 1987 Chevy Impala. It has a ford engine, working on a 1966 Mustang I'll try to post some pics.

Chevy all the way. My 1994 C1500 ext-cab with a 350 has 404K miles. I use it most every day and it still runs good . Never had the engine or transmission worked on .

FORD---Fix Or Repair Daily
FORD---Found On Road Dead

Chevy is the heart beat of america, goes along with baseball and apple pie, never heard of no one driving a ford to the levee....

only thing worse than a ford is a dodge....lol...

ooh...that playin dirty now....you couldnt tell that to a 194 stovebolt, besides those who judge chevy probably aint never owned one. and i still think the ford flatheads are tough as nails. 2 engines you will never stop is a 194 c.i. chevy and the 289 ford flat head. corse were talkin 30's and 40's here. The car that runs circles around chevy is oldsmobile. thats '50's there. dont ask me about today cuz i dont care. LOL no pun intended.

alright sky your right i have never owned a chevy and never will, but i have drove lots of them for work trucks and heres what i have to say, they are gutless wonders, get hung up on dog turds, trannys go out all the time, fall apart, leak oil, u joints go out all the time, rattle shake and shimmy going down the highway, 4 wd systems are crappy dont work when needed due to push button 4wd and even one chevy that died everytime it was on a hill and this is all on newer trucks not even 5 years old and i have seen the same on the older ones to, and the big one i have almost been killed by one, it was on my work truck only 55 thousand miles the front wheel broke off while going down the highway doing about 65, all i remember the front of the truck went down then i was upside down in a field happned so fast, you could see where the wheel broke off on the highway caus the frame of the truck tore the pavement up, i think the only thing that saved me was the headach rack on the flatbed, here is a couple pics of it after it was hauled in town and put in the junk pile, and you can see whick tire broke off they used it to hold that side of the truck off the ground cody

Ford 4.9's will not die! lug em' down and they just love it! they're one of the toughest motors that I know of and a great edition to the ford line up! nice explanation of what Chevrolet stands for Cody and just by the looks of the pictures I'd have to guess that it had to be one hell of a ride when that flatbed flipped!

Chevy's are for city slickers that have time to screw around, FORD's are for the workin' men that want to GIT' R' DUN'!

I have several fords or ford powered pieces of equipment...parts for them are twice the price of a GM part.
when ford got out the big truck market...parts got hard to get...the support just was not there anymore.
all my front line trucks are GM..I don't have anything to prove to any one else....since I am an owner-operator I use the most cost-efficent,reliable stuff I can find...because it's MY paycheck at the end of the month

thank you a rader, those chevys that i drove for work pulled trailors all the time and were out in the fields and on gravel roads they could not handle it, we even had a few older ford work trucks never had a problem with them, and as for the ride when it rolled i dont really remember rolling i just had a few minor cuts and bruises and maybe some brown shorts, i was pretty dazed when i got out like was still wondering what happned,i do remember seeing the wheel pass me before i hit the ditch and i do know that the lug nuts and rotor was still attached to the tire and that the spindle sheered off and i will never drive another chevy again, not to mention how many time i have been stranded and towed to town from out in the middle of no mans land
